Discovery's astronauts are evaluating their ships for damage from launch, but the work is complicated by the fact that the antenna of the space shuttle large plate.
The antenna does not work after the discovery in orbit Monday criticized. This leaves seven astronauts and there is no way to send or receive packets lot of information such as laser images of the shuttle wings and nose met Tuesday morning.
Typically, these images are immediately sent to the mission control.
Alan Poindexter commander and his crew are storing data on tapes of 40 minutes. The tapes are inserted into a computer and the information will be transmitted once the shuttle reaches the International Space Station Wednesday.
